The Brief
Carolle Blackwell, a ceramicist, wanted a brochure and business card to publicise a series of figures based on traditional Japanese figures known as 'Haniwa' that she was working on.
The Solution
My designs boldly frame the neutral tones in Carolle's ceramics with the hot, flamelike colours of the kiln from which they arise.
Shortly after she received these materials she landed several shows that resulted in a mention in Britain's respected Guardian newspaper.
